Girls on the Run of Los Angeles County currently has volunteer opportunities for every interest, schedule, and special skill. We are currently looking for the following volunteer positions to help us continue our growth in 2012:

Fund Development

Our 2012 fundraising goals aim higher than ever – so we can reach more girls than ever! Whether you are an experienced fundraisers or simply someone who enjoys being a part of part of a successful hands-on team, one of our three fund development committees may be right for you. Put your passion and skills to work:

Individual Giving

It’s all about relationships!  Our generous individual donors make it possible for us to welcome any girl regardless of her family’s ability to pay our program fee.  Our individual giving committee develops and implements innovative and fun campaigns, and maintains relationships with  donors.  Experience welcome but not necessary.

Sponsorships

Are you familiar with local business communities, and their giving programs? We would love your help creating a pipeline of prospects and soliciting sponsorships that meet the interests of the corporations and support GOTRLA growth priorities.  It’s a win-win opportunity.

Loud & Proud

Loud & Proud Team members are volunteers dedicated to broadening the GOTR community by promoting our awesome organization and mission in various ways.

What would I need to do? Being a team member is as easy as attending community outreach events to share our story, as you know it and have experienced it, with others.

How will this help GOTR? Our team will help us spread the word about who we are, what we do and why it is important. Your excitement will help us reach more girls and broaden our community!

What is in it for me? Being a part of this team will also give you a chance to meet new friends, running buddies, expand your network and enjoy fun events with your fellow teammates.
