We are looking for generous friends of GOTRLA to help prepare and donate a plastic bins filled with the supplies needed to implement the GOTR curriculum. We’ve got girls lined up across LA County ready to start our fall season, and your generous donation will help our coaches educate and empower girls through self-esteem enhancing games, activities and discussions. One bin helps provide GOTR to one full team of girls for one full season. Will you join us as a BINefactor?

HOW TO Build a Bin:

Fill a 56 quart plastic bin with the following items:

For Girls on the Run (3rd-5th graders):

230 mailing labels
2 boxes of markers (at least 8 markers per box)
150 index cards
5 spiral notebooks
5 pieces of poster board
1 tube of toothpaste (travel size)
1 15 foot piece of rope to be used as a jump rope
1500 beads (or other small items to be used as lap counters)
1 ball of yarn
2 permanent markers
1 box of sidewalk chalk
1 packet of stickers
3 magazines
6 large manila envelopes
4 orange cones
1 whistle
2 clipboards
1 first aid kit
1 bottle sunscreen
Non-perishable, nut-free snacks

OR

For Girls on Track (6th – 8th graders):

230 mailing labels
2 boxes of markers (at least 8 markers per box)
150 index cards
15 brown paper bags
2 party noise makers
13 pieces of poster board
1 package of kleenex
4 orange cones
4 latex-free balloons
10 marbles
1 ball of yarn/string
1 large bag of beads to fit on string (above)
15 small spiral notebooks
2 jump ropes
1 large bag of M&Ms
1 disposable camera
1500 beads (or other small items to be used as lap counters)
1 journal
15 pieces green paper
1 track baton (or cardboard paper towel roll!)
1 first aid kit
1 bottle sunscreen
Non-perishable, nut-free snacks
