One of our values that we believe truly sets us apart is that fact that Girls on the Run has never turned away a girl for inability to pay!  While our modest program fees amount to about $7 per practice session (much cheaper than most athletic or extracurricular activities), there are still families that can’t afford it.  And at GOTRLA, we never want cost to be a barrier to a girl’s positive development.  The only way we  have been able to sustain our scholarship program and supplement fees is through the amazing generosity of our community.  In fact, in 2011 your generous donations allowed us to provide scholarships to 375 girls.

The Power Within

We are asking for your financial support again to continue to help our young women discover the power that lives within every one of them.  Through this positive youth development after school program, YOU can make a difference in the lives of LA area girls.  By donating to Girls on the Run Los Angeles County, you are not only helping strengthen our community, you are helping every girl be the person she is meant to be.  Here are several ways you can give TODAY:

As a non profit, volunteer based organization, our success, and the success of our girls, depends on the generosity of others.   It is only with support from individuals like you that we are able to reach more girls each year.

We also accept in-kind donations to help support our teams each season.  Become a “BINefactor” and provide a plastic bin filled with materials for one of our sites. You can also contribute by donating photo copying, office supplies, and healthy snacks for girls during their practices.
